Pisscun was just a little ball of fur when we first laid eyes on her. She was huddled up in a corner, crying for help, but no one seemed to care. We took pity on her and decided to take her home, even though we weren’t sure if we could handle a blind and sick kitten.
At first, Pisscun was very weak and wouldn’t eat or drink anything. We took her to the vet and found out that she had a severe respiratory infection that had left her almost blind. We were devastated, but we refused to give up on her.
We started giving Pisscun medication and food through a syringe, and slowly but surely, she started getting stronger. She would purr contentedly as we held her in our arms, and we knew that we had made the right decision by rescuing her.
As Pisscun started growing, her personality began to shine through. She was feisty and playful, despite her blindness. She would chase toys around the house and even jump up on the furniture to cuddle with us. We could tell that she was grateful to have a loving home.
Now, three years later, Pisscun has grown into a beautiful and healthy cat. She still has some vision problems, but she navigates our house with ease. She’s affectionate, playful, and has become an integral part of our family.
We often wonder what would have happened to Pisscun if we hadn’t rescued her that day. Would she have survived on the streets? Would anyone else have taken her in? We’re just grateful that we were there to help her, and that she’s now living a happy and fulfilling life.
