LaMelo Ball is enjoying the fruits of wealth and also having some enjoyment as a fan too. During the offseason, he has shown fans his opulent side in full flow. At 21 years old, the Charlotte Hornets’ Point Guard has already become a wealthy individual and with his talent, this is just the beginning. He recently drew a sharp reaction from fans for wearing a highly expensive gold watch. As the team owner, Michael Jordan must have set his hopes upon the young star.

With the training camp still some months away, it is not surprising that the Star Guard has time to spend away from the USA. The Hornets player is in love with jewelry and a soccer team, too.

LaMelo Ball Take Up a Few Adventures in Milan

Melo was hanging out in Milan for a soccer game between AC Milan and Verona. This trip can well be a part of his multi-year $100 million shoe deal with Puma. The company supplies the kit for AC Milan and Ball is representing the Puma-inscribed jerseys. As a rookie, Ball signed a contract of  $35,596,275 that runs for four years. In his Instagram story, he is watching the soccer match. In the initial story, which says “on my ted lasso”, he posted a video of the action. In case you are not familiar, Ted Lasso is a sports comedy-drama series that shows an American football coach managing a British soccer team.

In his stories, his wealth is also on display. He is showing his teeth, which are covered in gold. Apart from that, he is wearing an AC Milan T-shirt. In the stories that follow the Ted Lasso bit, he is meeting Rafael Leao, Red and Black’s Forward, who scored two goals in the game to secure a 3-1 victory for his side. In one story, he reposted a photo of social influencer Ana Montana, with the caption “MINEEEE”. Overall, the stories gave a deep dive into Melo’s day out.

Have Michael Jordan’s ownership decisions been on-point?

LaMelo Ball was the third overall pick in the 2020 Draft. He has lived up to the hype around him and posted All-Star-level numbers. However, last season, he missed over 25 games because of a right ankle injury which was later treated with surgery. The Hornets were at the very bottom last season.

The decision to pick Ball as the number three pick was justified, but it may have happened that MJ made some questionable decisions as an owner. The team keeps picking up injury-riddled players like Gordon Hayward and has not put up a winning combination around their young star thus far.
