You have to do things yourself sometimes if you want them done well – just ask this small kitty. He appeared to understand that getting the attention of those who cared was his greatest chance for a happy existence.
And, sure enough, he followed through.
The small black cat appeared outside one of the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office’s stations in Eden Township a few days ago, according to the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office. Despite his little size, the cat looked to have lofty goals.
“We believe he was attempting to walk on as a K9 unit and refused to leave until he was interviewed,” the sheriff’s office reported on its website. “When he got to the sergeant’s office, he took over the printer and took a nap.”
The cat would have been a shoo-in if the sheriff’s office had an open post for a fluffy “printer guard.”
The sheriff’s office noted, “He has a huge attitude but is really sweet.”
Of course, the part that this kitty actually wanted to play was that of treasured pet. He’s had greater luck since then.
The kitty’s insistence on not being ignored paid off.
“We are glad to announce that Deputy Scalise took him to the vet and she is going to adopt him,” the sheriff’s office said.
