On the 10th of September, 2018, a group of adorable kittens were rescued from their stray lives on the city streets.

The little ones were taken to the Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC) after they were found wandering around in the 5000 block of S. Paulina Street as stray animals. The Facebook page @carfanimalrelief provided this information.

The litter of kittens were discovered concealed under the entrance steps, concealed by a pile of garbage. This was found through the Facebook page of Car Fanimal Relief.

The little kittens were in dire need of help as their parents could not be located. They were estimated to be only about a month old and required constant care from experienced foster parents due to their young age. On September 15th, the Critical Animal Relief Foundation (CARF) came to their rescue and saved them from near-death. The group of kittens came to be known as “The Seven Dwarves.”

It’s a lot of work, but taking care of them is a wonderful experience for whoever wants to do it! Fortunately, two experienced caretakers stepped up to the task and took care of the kittens in their own homes. They made sure to separate them so that each caretaker could take care of a group of siblings. This way, the kittens can continue to grow up together, which is essential for their development. Overall, it’s a heartwarming story that shows how much love and dedication animals require.

Recently, a litter of kittens was found in poor condition: hungry, dehydrated, and infested with fleas. There was also a concern that they might have unidentified medical issues, as illnesses can have an incubation period. To prevent any potential infections, the kittens were separated from other cats. However, being at animal control could still put them at risk of contracting unknown illnesses, which would further endanger their lives.

Rescuing kittens can be an emotional rollercoaster. Unfortunately, one tiny kitten’s journey ended on Sunday morning. However, the good news is that the other six kittens are thriving in their foster care home. CARF shared the update on Facebook, assuring everyone that the surviving kittens are healthy and happy. They have been playing and exploring their new environment, showing signs of a bright future ahead.

Thanks to the safe and secure temporary shelters, the cats were able to showcase their unique personalities. Foster parents utilized CARF’s Facebook page to showcase stunning photographs of their feline children. Generous donations to support these siblings came from loyal supporters of the organization. Ultimately, these adorable kittens will be up for adoption through CARF’s official website.
