Team USA Dominates Serbia in a Ruthless Victory

Bringing their brightest NBA stars to the Olympics, Team USA left Serbia with virtually no chance. The American squad opened their campaign with a commanding 110-84 victory, highlighted by Stephen Curry’s iconic “no look shot” in the final seconds.

Despite a shaky start, allowing Serbia to take an early 10-2 lead, the game soon turned into a showcase for Team USA’s star-studded lineup. Kevin Durant and LeBron James were the standout performers. Durant had an incredible first half, scoring 21 points with a perfect shooting percentage, including five three-pointers. He finished the game with 23 points. LeBron James also had an excellent opening game, coming close to a triple-double.

The only downside was Joel Embiid’s performance, as he struggled to sync with the team’s overall play. However, with the depth and talent of Team USA, this issue was easily mitigated.

The Americans’ dominant display sets a strong tone for their Olympic journey, signaling to other teams the challenge that lies ahead.
