Kevin Durant celebrates 31st birthday with Kyrie Irving at Dave & Busters

How would you spend your 31st birthday when you’re an NBA superstar?

If you’re Kevin Durant, you take your best friend Kyrie Irving a few friends over to Dave & Busters in Times Square.

The two were seen playing Pop-a-shot and having a whale of a time. During Nets media day, you saw Irving give an insightful and thoughtful analysis of what went wrong in Boston, while Durant deferred to his general manager Sean Marks for his recovery from injury.

The former Warrior also downplayed how much planning went into joining forces with Irving as he noted the two were up in a hotel room at 4am and asked each other if they wanted to go to the Nets together.

The two quickly agreed and the next call they made was to DeAndre Jordan, who was on-board with the idea as well.

Nets training camp is underway, but the friendship between Durant and Irving is quite evident. Irving admitted that he won’t pressure Durant to return to the call until his ready, and according to the Nets they likely won’t be until next year.
