The debate over who is the Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) in the NBA is always a contentious topic. For many 20th-century basketball fans, the greatest of all time is none other than King LeBron James, who has dominated the NBA for the past 20 years with his athleticism, skills, basketball IQ, and versatility. However, for those who watched the NBA in the 90s, Michael Jordan is the undisputed number one. The debates come from fans and even professional players who have competed against both.

Recently, Jordan’s former teammate Kwame Brown shared his perspective that nobody in the NBA considers LeBron the GOAT. Specifically, he said, “The reason why people see LeBron James as the GOAT is only because he controls the media, but in substance, no player in the league sees him as the greatest.”

Michael Jordan and LeBron James are indeed the most outstanding players of their respective generations, and it’s very difficult to determine who is better.
