Niykee Heaton, the singer-songwriter who gained fame for her viral acoustic covers, recently made serious allegations during an Instagram Live session. She accused Kanye West and Sean “Diddy” Combs of attempting to sexually assault her when she was 19. Heaton recounted the incident, stating that it occurred in 2014 after she was invited to a recording session with Kanye West following the success of her song Bad Intentions.
According to Heaton, upon arriving at the studio, both West and Diddy were visibly intoxicated, which made her feel uncomfortable. The situation escalated when they began pressuring her to undress, claiming it was “hot” in the room. Despite her repeated refusals and protests, Heaton said that the two rappers forcibly ripped her shirt, leaving her partially exposed. Throughout the ordeal, Heaton felt helpless, especially when one of the men in the room, whom she had silently asked for help, looked away rather than intervening.
She eventually managed to escape by lunging toward the door, finding refuge in another studio for a brief period before leaving the scene with her manager. This incident left Heaton with lasting emotional scars, particularly the feeling of abandonment by those who witnessed her distress but did nothing to help.
The allegations surfaced as both Kanye West and Diddy have been embroiled in multiple legal and public controversies. Diddy, in particular, has faced numerous accusations, including sex trafficking and other disturbing charges, which have surfaced in recent months. Neither West nor Diddy have responded publicly to Heaton’s claims
