Marcus Rashford desperately needed motivation to score goals and it appears a young fan’s wish has given him just that.

The 26-year-old has bagged his first goal of the season to get Manchester United to a 2-0 lead over Southampton.

Before the game, Rashford shared a video of a young fan on Instagram, who expressed his admiration for the forward.

Rashford replied on his stories: “Thank you, Grayson! The next goal that I score is dedicated to you.”

And Marcus kept his promise – his goal against Southampton may mark the end of his drought since 189 days ago but it also means he kept his word to the young kid.
