Nikola Jokic has a case for being the best player in the NBA.

He’s the second or third-best at worst.

That’s despite not being the fastest and definitely not the most athletic player in the league.

That’s why the fans and people at home were in awe after watching him throw an electrifying dunk in Goran Dragic’s farewell game.

As shown by Harrison Wind on Twitter, Jokic threw an alley-oop to himself and dunked it off the backboard.

Needless to say, it didn’t take long before the clip went viral and made the rounds on social media.

That’s the only thing that Jokic doesn’t do, and if he starts pulling them off on a regular basis, the rest of the league simply doesn’t stand a chance.

The Denver Nuggets are coming off a disappointing season.

They encountered a Minnesota Timberwolves team that was literally built to match up with them and beat them.

But now, with Jokic being a man on a mission and seeking revenge, the rest of the league might not catch a break.

The Western Conference will continue to be as tough as it’s ever been, with the Oklahoma City Thunder and Dallas Mavericks also looking like a big threat.

But even if they didn’t make it to the NBA Finals last season, Jokic and the Nuggets will continue to be the team to beat in the West until proven otherwise.

They just have to hope he doesn’t slim down and start putting people on posters.
